Student Leadership

Black Forest Primary School offers a number of student leadership opportunities, as well as programs to support students to pursue their learning passions.

The Student Parliament is a Reception-Year 6 Leadership program through which students shape the operation and direction of the school. Through formal leadership training, students in Year 5 and 6 form an “Executive” within which each member manages specific portfolios, connecting with other staff and community committees and programs to lead initiatives.

A number of other leadership and extension opportunities are also offered, including participation in the state-wide Youth Environment Council, Sports Leaders and participation in the partnership led wellbeing conference.
