About Us
Founded in 1919, Black Forest Primary School has a long and proud history of offering high-quality education for its surrounding community in Adelaide’s inner southwest. Our experienced and highly professional staff work to provide engaging and challenging learning that will equip our students for future success as active and informed citizens.
We offer robust literacy and numeracy education as a foundation for achievement, with targeted, research-based intervention to support all students to achieve. The school has a well established technologies program, with families having the option to participate in the school “Bring Your Own Device” program from Year 3.
Set within expansive grounds, Black Forest Primary School also boasts what may be Australia’s oldest continuing school garden, a treasured asset which continues to connect student learning to real-world experiences and forms the centrepiece of our commitment to sustainability.
